George Kostel is a Principal at Impresa.  He focuses his practice on Litigation, Trial Advocacy, Dispute Resolution, and strategic advice regarding real estate, investment, and community development. 

He serves as a Director on the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and New Hope Housing.  He has served as the Chair of the Wesley Housing Development Corporation, and as a Commissioner on the Historic Resources Commission of the City of Alexandria. 

George has been a Commercial Litigation Partner in the Polsinelli, Nelson Mullins, Reed Smith and Hazel & Thomas firms. While he has litigated jury and bench trials nationwide for over 20 years, he has particular experience with the “Rocket Docket” of the Eastern District of Virginia.

He earned his law degree from the William and Mary Law School and his Bachelors in Economics from Vanderbilt University.  He is a member of the Bars of Virginia and the District of Columbia.
